  • How do I apply the product?
  • What is Rubber Seal It's Coverage?
    1.25m² per liter (2 coats) 20L = 25m² 5L = 6.25m² 1L = 1.25m²
  • Does Rubber Seal it come in different colours?
    Yes – Rubber Seal it comes in different colours, including: white, grey, dark grey, charcoal, black, green, brown, terracotta, biscuit and tuscan.
  • What is the soonest it can rain after I apply Rubber Seal It?
    Rubber Seal It must be applied at least 3 hours before it rains.
  • How long does it take for Rubber Seal It to dry and cure?
    Rubber Seal It has a 3 hour drying time and a total curing time of 24-48 hours.
  • Can I use Rubber Seal It for rising damp?
    No, Rubber Seal It, is a water-based product and is designed to work on the positive side, if dampness gets in on the negative side the product will blister.
  • Do I need to use membrane with Rubber Seal It?
    Yes, all ridges, valleys, joint gaps, screw heads and parapets need to be membraned when using Rubber Seal it.
  • Can I use Rubber Seal It in a swimming pool?
    No, we do not advise it. We do not know what the reaction will be with pool chemicals and pool cleaning actions such as sweeping.
  • Can I use Rubber Seal It on a concrete slab?
    Yes. Firstly, coat the slab with bonding liquid then cover the entire slab with membrane and Rubber Seal It.
  • Is there a warranty on Rubber Seal It?
    Yes, there is a 15-year warranty on Rubber Seal It. Please note that you must give a maintenance coat every 5 years.
  • Must I use a primer before applying Rubber Seal It?
    Yes, on concrete, tile roofs, asbestos and nutec we recommend you use bonding liquid. On metal roofs we advise you use metal ETCH primer.
  • Can I apply Rubber Seal It Directly on rust?
    We advise that you clean the rusted areas first and then apply rust converter before applying Rubber Seal It.
  • Can I apply Rubber Seal It onto wood?
    Yes. Make sure the wood is clean and dry before applying Rubber Seal It.
  • Can I apply Rubber Seal it on to fiber glass?
    Yes, you will need to prime fiber glass with an epoxy primer first.
